Saqribs 1 electronic warfare (EW) device <\/strong>is designed to be used solely for countering the FPV-type and other kamikaze UAVs, which operate at the frequency of a radio jamming unit within a range of 50 \u2013 300 meters. Modified versions with increased operational range may be available. <\/p>\n

The principle of operation of the Saqribs 1 dome-type anti-drone electronic warfare (EW) system is to jam the control and navigation channels of UAVs, thereby causing failure to the enemy equipment. Thus, Saqribs 1 ensures a high degree of protection against kamikaze drone attacks. The device can create dome protection through the use of omnidirectional antennas, as well as directional protection \u2014 owing to a package of directional antennas suitable for mounting on a motor vehicle. <\/p>\n

      1. Antennas<\/strong><\/p>\n

      Collinear or dipole antennas (poles) feature a much weaker protection from above. Collinear or dipole antennas (poles) pointing upward have only vertical polarization (UAVs are normally horizontal), so their efficiency is low! Two collinear antennas (also known as dipole antennas (poles)) located at an angle are designed for the following purposes: to develop protection from above, to ensure a polarization tilt (an angled wave is already more effective in horizontal plane, but not so effective as a dome-type version). <\/p>\n

      2. Positioning of antennas<\/strong><\/p>\n

      The closer the antennas are positioned to one another (immediately adjacent), the more they affect one another as a reflector, which reduces the efficiency.<\/p>\n

      The antennas placed outside the device should be positioned according to the principle that the longer the cable from the noise unit to the antenna, the weaker the signal; it is not advisable that antennas be positioned externally and noise units be installed separately, because this greatly affects the power.<\/p>\n

      3. Bands<\/strong><\/p>\n

      Bands may range from 300 MHz to 5.8 GHz. You can start with any frequency, but spread the band to the extent that it does not go beyond 80\u2013100 MHz. For example, 400\u2013500 MHz, 700\u2013800 MHz, or 750\u2013850 MHz, 420\u2013460 MHz, etc. <\/p>\n
